Reservation requests online

To make a reservation request online, please visit our availability calendar to see if your desired dates are available. Although we update the calendar frequently, it is possible the room and date(s) you request may not be available. After receiving our request we will contact you to confirm the actual availability.

Check-in & check-out / Office hours

Check-in 3 p.m. & Check-out 11 a.m. See office/lobby hours above for lobby closing time. Late check-ins need to alert the Eastland Motel ASAP to make arrangements for room access. Room rates are subject to change.

Smoking policy

Our entire motel is smoke-free. If you smoke in the room, your credit card WILL be charged a minimum of $250.00.

Dog policy

For an additional $10 per dog, we have select rooms available for a friendly pooch if he or she travels with you. Please let us know about your dog(s) when making a reservation. We DO NOT allow cats or any other type of pets to stay or visit in any of our rooms, apartment, or cottage!

Discounts available

If you're a U.S. Veteran, please show us your Veteran I.D. card to receive a discount on your room rate.

Payment methods & tax

Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or cash is accepted. The current Maine state lodging tax will be added to all room rates.

Cancellation policy

Standard Policy: Notice of cancellation must be received 48 hours prior to the reservation date check-in time or the full fee will be charged for rooms not re-booked. Late check-ins need to alert The Eastland Motel ASAP to make arrangements for room access.

Special Event Dates and Holidays: We reserve the right to require a 20% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit during special events and holidays, such as (but not limited to) the following:

• Downeast Spring Birding Festival on Memorial Day
• 4th of July
• The Bay of Fundy International Marathon in June
• The Machias Wild Blueberry Festival in August
• Labor Day
• Eastport Pirate Festival in September

Groups: For groups of people that reserve 4 or more rooms we may require a 20% NON-REFUNABLE deposit.

Accessibility

We have 12 rooms that are wheelchair accessible and one room has been completely remodeled to be ADA compliant. Please see our room descriptions or tell us your needs when making your reservation.
